[Moo] Last minute work days for Coronation

Good Morning!

 

I know it may be hard for many of you to make it to Fredericksburg on a
Tuesday evening, but I am sure the autocrat would be very happy to have
any help that she can.  It sounds like there is a lot of finishing work
left on projects for Coronation/Baronial Birthday.  If you have the
ability to show up please do, or drop a line and see if there is
something you can do for her from afar!  She can be reached at
gradh at verizon.net.

Greetings all,

I send to you on Cairistiona's behalf a reminder of what we are doing
for the next 2 tuesdays. 

 

This tuesday coming, (at the CCC on Dandridge St in Fredericksburg...
see Sudentorre website if  you need directions)  Cairistiona will be
presenting a talk on high table. How to set it, serve it, decorate it,
and what high table is all about in period and now for us. We also will
be stringing beads on safety pins for the populus voting on best
Heraldic/spiff Baronial or group display. 

 

Next tuesday, the last one before Coronation, will be all hands on deck
needed for last details and tidbits. Tokens will be in and need
stringing. If you have a small crocet hook, it may be useful to get the
string through the token holes! Please bring any crochet hooks you have!
We may also be doing organizational stuff for troll or other details. 

 

Many hands will make light work. I will bring Marion Heatherdale's
newest CD if any wish to listen to it. And if we also want to trade
around recent classes and such, we can share and plan ahead on that too!

 

Coronation is the weekend of Aug 28-30. There will be unloading and
putting away at House Wolfhou that sunday afternoon.
