Greetings all!

Again this year we open our house, House Wolfhou, to all on New Year's Eve through New Year's Day for any and all who wish to work on your projects, share what you are working on, play some board games, shoot archery, eat, socialize and be with firends old and new as we end 2009 and begin 2010. Come Join Us! All are most welcome! Come as early as 10 am on New Year's Eve, and stay all day New Years Day. Come and go as your schedule and the weather allow. There is much floor space and a few beds for those who wish to sleep over.

At the stroke of midnight, the archers will have their first shoot of the New Year (the weather may blanket the range with snow to hamper that). I know of one new heavy fighter who is planning on bringing her armour, so pick up heavy fighting, and maybe some rapier fighting can occur...so bring your gear. I will have a ham and a beef roast cooked and ready for you to eat. Other dishes are welcome to be shared. New Year's Morning will begin with hog jowl, black eyed peas, hominys, and other traditional first meal of the new year foods, and then we will progress to more varied foods during the day.

Now, I have heard that the weather may be snowy or wintery mixed mess. Use your descretion concerning the roads and their safety. Our roads to the house are clear from the past storm, but are not quickly cleared from whatever new falls. Come early on thursday befor the weather falls, and bring extra changes of clothes in case you get snowed in with a bunch of friends for the weekend and the new year... oh my!

For directions, House Wolfhou is at 106 The Vance Way, Fredericksburg VA 22405. Directions are on the Sudentorre website: http://sudentorre.atlantia.sca.org/ as is our house phone number.

See ya'll this year or next,
Blitha of Wolfhou
