Things you can do at KASF!

KASF Baker's Competition

A competition for baked goods and confectionary work from anytime  
within the SCA's scope. Deliciousness, periodicity, and documentation  
are all encouraged, but none are technically required. Baked goods  
ideally should be at the table by noon, with judging to commence in  
the early afternoon. Afterward, there will be an opportunity for  
entrants to get together, taste the various entries, and discuss  
their work. Prize to be announced.

There is also another competition that your humble correspondent will  
be sponsoring. :)

The "Heart of Atlantia" Rose Competition

On behalf of the Ladies of the Rose, Countess Rowan is sponsoring a  
Rose Competition at KASF 2009. The theme of this competition is "The  
Heart of Atlantia".

What do you think is the true Heart of Atlantia? courage? courtesy?  
the beauty of its fair ladies? the honor of us all?

Entries may be in any genre or medium and in any SCA time period.  
Winners will be selected by Ladies of the Rose attending the event  
and judging should take place at 2:00 PM. Prizes will be awarded for  
1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as for Roses Choice and Special  
Creativity. For additional information kindly contact Countess Rowan
