Well that is a good question. I think it would depend. I have had some chainmail anklets and bracelets cause issues with compasses but would suggest taking the armor off to use it. Or it would make a interesting stick on patch. - Jaz

  Hey, here's a stupid question from a non-combattant...if you are wearing steel armor and attempt to use a magnetic compass, I assume it will not work?  Or is that not enough interference to matter? Inquiring minds need to know (for sure)
