    Your Excellency, I am responding to the list on purpose, so I can toss the thought out for general consumption...

I believe they are planning to start about 7PM and play until at leas 10 PM or so.  I don't want to make up stories, so once i have confirmation of play times from Heather, then I will post that...

I would submit that having a baronial business meeting the night before WoW starts may not be the most ideal of optons.   Many folks who might normally come might decide not to because they have too much packing to do, and there is probably much better value in having a meeting the week AFTER War of Wings because you can then discuss all the cool thoughts, considerations, plans, and ideas that the barony saw at WoW...

Do you really want to have a business meeting that is NOT well attended, due to packing consideration (and concert considerations)??   Why not postpone it a week?  just a suggestion.

I want to come!  Can you tell me when it will start?  My problem, and a few others I know who would like to come, is that is the night of the Baronial Business Meeting in Manassas.  If you can give me a start time and then let me know if showing up a bit late would be a problem that would be great.

Greetings all from Master Terafan,

A wonderful folk/celtic/SCA musician, Mistress Marian of Heather Dale accompanied by Ben Deschamps
will be performing a house concert in Woodbridge, VA on their way down War of the Wings.

The house concert will be Wednesday evening, 7 October.


Please send me a note to let me know you are interested so I can judge whether I need a special venue or if I can fit everyone in my house (about 25 or 30 max).  It would be about $10, or what you could afford to put in a hat.

I will supply munchies, seats, cats to pet, & crash space as required.
