Greetings all,

One has come with bits of naalbinding, and does not think it is right, and wants
to know what she is doing wrong. I am trying to figure out naalbinding, so that
I may help her... but I don't really do naalbinding yet. So, we need any help
available!

If you have ever done naalbinding, have a vague idea about naalbinding, have a
good idea about naalbinding, are a naalbinding expert, or just want to give it a
try, you are needed! This sunday afternoon coming (Aug 29), at House Wolfhou
(106 The Vance Way, 22405), we will be exploring naalbinding.

Naalbinding is a viking/norse stretchy fabric made of loops of yarn
interconnected. It has been found made into socks, mittens, and hats. Over 30
stitches have been identified used in mittens (different areas used different
stitches... not all those different stitches in one item of clothing).
Naalbinding has been miss identified as knitting or crocheting, but it is not
the same thing. It predated those 2 yarn arts.... come and try it! I have a few
naalbinding needles and yarn....
