And just for grins, I'll point out that "historically accurate" is also not 
necessarily the same as "documentable" or "plausible," though there is a 
small area of overlap amongst the three. ;-)


(*Anything* is documentable.  It's totally possible to write documentation for 
anything.  [See http://larsdatter.com/documentation.htm -- a version of that 
article will be in the new edition of the Known World Handbook, at last check.]  
But not everything is plausible, and not everything is historically accurate.  
There is *some* stuff that is both plausible AND historically accurate, which 
is, of course, documentable, too.) ;-)
