Greetings all,
In rooting around, I found some websites you may be interesting in perusing...

On the topic of hunting game in Europe as compared to America, this one has some 
pictures of the game in Europe compared to the game here.

This one has a short article on hunting. Did you know there were 2 types of 
hunts? "At Force" Hunting was strenuous, for the young and physically fit. 
Hunters and thier dogs would chase prey like wild boar and large ferocious 
animals until they were exhausted. "Bow and Stable" Hunting was often on 
horseback, and used the bow (or cross bow) to drive the prey (often deer) into 
an enclosure to be killed. Not PC...
