[Moo] Don't forget - Nominations for Baronial Candidates has begun

With the Holiday Season upon us I'm sure the populace has had much to do but don't forget that Stierbach has started the process for selection of our next Baronage.

Nominations for candidates has begun. Submit candidates to seneschal at stierbach.org. (If possible please include email and telephone contact information for the nominee's.) I will contact the nominee's to see if they are interested in accepting the nomination. Nominations can be for either a pair or couple or a single individual. Self nomination is fine. 

The first term for the new Baronage is 3 years. If decided to stay on as Baronage, a Polling of Confidence will happen during the 3rd year. If the Polling of Confidence is passed then the Baronage would stay on another 2 years. This process can continue indefinitely until the new Baronage decides to step down, does not pass a Polling of Confidence or Kingdom Law changes this process. 

Stierbach needs to have at least two but no more then four candidates for the Polling. Those accepting the nomination will have their names submitted to Their Royal Highness's for approval January 30th. (Approval by Their Royal Highness's, as Their Royal Highness's will be the ones Investing the next Baronage.) Approved candidates will submit a Letter of Intention to
Their Royal Highness's by March 1st. 

As is Stierbach tradition the Approved Candidates will meet with the individual groups within the Barony, a meeting with the Canton of Sudentorre, a meeting with the Canton of Abhainn Iarthair and a meeting with the Barony Proper. Times and dates to be determined but could have to happen between March 1st and March 25th.

Polling's will be sent to the populace March 26th and need to received by Their Royal Highness's by April 15th.

Their Royal Highness's will let the Candidates know who was selected by May 15th, with our Investiture June 16th.
