mmm... sounds good!
We also have a small 2 burner coleman stove, and can bring it... thus we have burners for food and burners for hot water. I have my large cook pot and a hot water pot can bring...

I have an abundance of hot chocolate mixes, tea bags, sugar, splenda and such, so I will bring that for however number we have camping (will get that info from Allen)... also can pick up lemonade mix
ran across a "recipe idea" for a breakfast... those packaged cinamon buns get cut into half, and dipped in egg and cooked like french toast... sounds good to me, want to try it? Pancakes are also a good idea for second breakfast (sunday) since not as much needs refridgeration.
Baked pumpkin bread loaf, apple bread, apricot-oatmeal loaf with cream cheese is also good with cream cheese.

Of the allergies I know of:
nut allergies: Wulff, Lex, Siegfried, Richard the younger
splenda: Flaithri
kiwi: Elaine
cucumbers: Allen

Subject: [Moo] Sapphire Joust Meal Plan?

I have volunteered to co-ordinate some kind of meal plan for the Stierbach camp at Sapphire Joust. Here is what I am thinking...

Friday is a free-for-all since I'm not quite sure who is going to be there when.

Saturday morning:
Breakfast: If one person or a small group volunteers to provide breakfast food for Saturday morning, I will cook it. I can make eggs, bacon, toast, etc. I will be bringing my small Coleman stove. Baked goods would also be welcomed along with breakfast-type drinks (OJ, etc.). If you bring baked goods, please make sure to also provide a list of ingredients for those of us with food allergies.

Saturday lunch: Fend for yourself.

Saturday Dinner: I will bring a main course. I made Sauerbraten last year and it was pretty well received. I will be happy to do that again. I was thinking that the rest of dinner could be a "pot luck" affair. We would be looking for side dishes or desserts and probably something to drink as well.

Sunday Morning: Again, if interested parties provided the food, I would be happy to cook it up.

Sunday lunch: Fend for yourself or possibly, leftovers...Mmmm.

Sunday Dinner: Chili night? I am willing to make a big pot of chili for Sunday night. If others would to join in, we could use cheese, onions, hotdogs and hot dog buns (MMMMMMmm...Chili Cheese Dogs!), sour cream, etc. Other side dishes and drinks would also be welcome.

Monday Morning: Hopefully there will be enough left-over breakfast stuff that we can all grab something before we hit the road.

So...what do you think? If you are interested in participating in a meal plan, please email me at moliver16 at hotmail.com and let me know what you would be able to contribute to which meal(s). Please make sure to let me know by Monday May 23rd so I have time to get all the necessary things together and finalize who is bringing what. BTW, Chili night is not set in stone...just an idea to get things rolling. If those of you participating in the meal plan would like something else, just let me know and we will figure it out.

Genefe Wolflien
