[Moo] FW: [Watchtower] Pewter opportunity for those projects -please cross post

My thought is to do a class on sand casting with pewter as the metal. I am
looking for a small format pewter pot thought as mine is 80lbs, takes and
hour to melt and another hour plus to cool

Would anyone have a small format like a lead caster for bullets?

With sand casting, the goal is to replicate an object. Everyone can bring an
object up to 1 inch or slightly more. Something like a button/brooch is
great, we should be able to get a number of casting cycles done in the
available time.

If you have something in mind but not done, you might try to form it in
sculpey clay or the like. Then bring it.

THE ONLY CONSTRAINT

The item can not have undercuts - we have to be able to take it out of the
sand.

I am think of scheduling this later in the month and would appreciate
feedback on the idea off list.

THanks
Wiglaf

Does this mean me can have a class on pewter casting????...

What is the alloy consisted of? I may like a lb or two for a goblet casting
