[Moo] [abhainniarthair] Baronial Award Recomendations

I have received several questions this morning on how to find a current
listing of which awards members of our populace have.  There are two
answers.

 

For Baronial awards:
http://op.atlantia.sca.org/barony_awards.php?barony_id=33

This will give you a listing of all awards the barony bestows, and all
individuals who have received the award.  The Baronial OP kept by the
Kingdom (for all _KNOWN_ members of the Barony and its cantons, and if you
are not on it contact the OP clerk so she can put you on it) can be found
here too.

 

For Kingdom awards:  http://op.atlantia.sca.org/

You can search the OP by first letter of the first name, or by award, to see
if the individual already has it.

Greetings!

 

Defending the Gate is just around the corner.  Right after that is Royal
Archer and Investiture.  Do you know someone in our fair Barony that is
worthy of a Baronial or Kingdom award?  Have you written them in for one
yet?  If not please do so ASAP.  

 

We will have baronial courts at those events.  Her Highness Briana will be
in attendance at Royal archer, and both Their Highnesses Bryan and Briana
will be at investiture.  To make Kingdom award recommendations please use
the SPIKE system:  http://award.atlantia.sca.org/.  For Baronial Award
recommendations please send us a letter with the following information:

 

SCA Name 

Modern Name (if known)

Award

Reason(s) for recommendation 

Baronial events gentle will be in attendance

 

Remember, for both Kingdom and Baronial awards, the more information you can
give us on why someone is deserving the easier our decision is on when to
bestow it.  You are our eyes and we rely on you to let us know when members
of the populace are doing great things.   All recommendations that we have
not acted on from our tenure will be given to the incoming Baron and
Baroness to use.
