The Annual Pennsic Children’s Fete is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31,
2013.

It will start at 1 pm and end at 4 pm.

If you have kids age 12 and under, this is a “must do” activity for them at
Pennsic.

The Children’s Fete runs on volunteers..!!

There is a need for volunteers to:

-- *help set-up* the various activities starting at Noon

(one hour before the event starts)

-- *clean-up* starting at 4 pm (finishing by or before 5 pm).

   -- Sign-in families *(Troll)*

-- run or help *run an activity* station (talent optional)

   -- *Face painting*

   -- *hand-out treats/drinks*

   -- *target* for “Wack-a-knight”

   -- *Security*

A lot of our volunteers are not parents of younger children. The parents
who bring their children to the Fete, stay with their kids while they are
having fun. So this makes it very hard for them to volunteer. If you are
not scheduled to bring children to the Fete, consider volunteering your
time to this great event.

Please consider donating a few hours to volunteer for the Children’s Fete,
Wednesday of War Week.

This is a very large 3-hour activity with hundreds of children all in one
location..!!

Sign-up your Household; send your squires, challenge your friends to see
who can brave 3 hours entertaining children….*This is not for the weak-knee*….
Think of the tales you can tell around the campfire that night. Your ears
may ring with the sounds of children’s squeals of delight long after the
event; but you will come away with a glad heart of a job well done..!

If you are interested in volunteering or sponsoring and activity you may

Grienan is the Fete Coordinator, youth at atlantia.sca.org, and Duchess

Please pass this to other lists throughout the Known World.

YIS,

                 Cairistiona
