[Moo] Baronial Gathering and Pot-Luck Reminder

Greetings from your traveling Baronage!

 

Well we are back in the states, jet lagged and tired, but in one piece.
Flaithri will be at practice tonight for anyone who wises to come, be
nice he is even more tired than I am.

 

I wanted to remind everyone of the Baronial activity day this Saturday!
Show up when you can and stay as long as you can, pot-luck dinner at
6pm, so at least come for the food!!!  As a reminder here are the
details:

 

    Who:  The Entire Barony!

    What:  Come eat, drink, fight, play, do A&S and have a great time!

    Where:  24300 gum spring road Sterling VA (The Firehouse fighter
practice site). (From I-66 take exit 40 at Haymarket and go north on US
15.  At US 50 turn East (Right).  Turn North (Left) onto Gum Spring
Road, 659, and the firehouse will be on the right.  If you start to see
Dulles you have gone to far.)

    When:  Saturday July 19, 2008 10am to 9pm, with a pot-luck at 6pm.  

    How:  By any means necessary, cars suggested.

    Why:  Because this will be a great opportunity to see people you
don't get to very often, talk with your Baron and Baroness, finish any
last minute projects for Pennsic, plus so much more!

The firehouse has enough room for Heavy and Rapier fighting outside
(dependant upon marshals), and an indoor space for A&S and general
hanging out.  There are tables, chairs and plenty of outlets.  

Snacks will be set out for general munching during the day and a
pot-luck dinner will start at 6pm.  This event will be held rain or
shine.  If there is inclement weather the marshals will make the
decision on the practice.
