Umm…what do you think?  That is the other reason I want to get up there.  According to Vidimus (the on-line stained glass journal) they just took out a series of panels from storage and placed them in the Medieval Wing.  Drool…..

Now to figure out how to get me to the V&A for their newly re-opened wing on the middle ages….

At the bottom of the exhibit page it says that there will be a catalogue made possible by the Michel David-Weill Fund.

Until then, here are some more tid-bits you may like:
Here is a video of it made by the museum:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LKYPRZkDF0&feature=player_embedded

Good Baroness,

Is there going to be a catalogue for those living a little south of the barony?

If you missed this on the Merry Rose....

For those of you who can get up to New York this is something you don't
want to miss.

>From 2 March - 13 June: The Art of Illumination: The Limbourg Brothers
and the Belles Heures of Jean de France, Duc de Berry, at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, is a once-in-a-lifetime display of
the 172 sumptuous illuminations from the medieval prayer book, one of
the Museum's great treasures, while it is temporarily unbound for
conservation (and the preparation of a facsimile edition).
