Greetings!

Its time once again to face the tidal wave of children at the National
Zoo. The Zoo event "Guppy Gala" has invited the SCA to do a demo on
Friday June 12 at 6 pm - 8:30.

They were so impressed by us last year that they are letting us do
fighting this year. We have a large area enclosed for this purpose as
well as grassy lawn for dancing, music, and arts displays. We are also
having a seige weapons display with toy trebs to fire tennis balls at a
cloth castle target (the seige engine display went over like gangbusters
last year).

We will need some fighters, artisans and people to add color. Please
come out and support your SCA in this activity.

Could someone cross post this to Ponte Alto, Dun Carraig, Roxbury Mill,
Lochmere and Highland Ford?
