[Moo] Gifts to Thier Majesties

Greetings, once again!

 

Last year the Barony made reusable scroll holders for the Kingdom.  It
was a great success, and I know for a fact they are still being used...I
see them periodically and hear tales.  This year, I thought it would be
nice to make items that Their Majesties could use in gift baskets over
their reign, or to give out at their discretion.

 

Many of you know that one of the activities I did at the Children's Fete
at Pennsic this year was make your own 3 Men's Morris Games.  It was a
huge hit, and I could not have done it without the cutting and sewing
talents of William, Ceit, Rienmar and Alienor (am I missing anyone?).
While I dealt with the hundreds of children (along with Catherine,
Ceridwen, Muriel, and...who am I missing?) they did the prep work of
making boards and bags.  Well I came home with 43 leftover.  Whew!

 

This coming Sunday we will be making 3 Men's Morris Games to be given at
Holiday Faire to Their Majesties.  If you are unable to come but wish to
help out you can find directions to how to make these on the front page
of the Baronial Web-site at

bring craft paints, you bring your creativity!  If you are going to make
some on your own, please let me know so that we can arrange a time for
me to pick them up from you.
