Whoops -- just checked with their baronial herald, and Lochmere doesn't have an actual registered populace badge, but they use a "crab tergiant azure" as an informal populace badge for now.  (Which means -- you *could* use http://hobbyloco.com/needle/crabc.gif in blue, without the annulet/ring around it.)
 
I'm checking with Black Diamond herald on their populace badge -- I've got a sketch of it done, but before I throw it to the internet, I do want to check and make sure they use it as a populace badge.  (It's listed on their site as a sort of award badge -- "Honorary Member of the Black Diamond Populace" -- so I want to make sure that it's something they use for their actual populace as well.) ;-)
