 His Excellency's discourses are becoming more unintelligible, clearly his condition is worsening.

Sadly at this point there seems to be no choice but to carry out the expedition south.

 I am in the processes of provisioning for the expedition, to date there is a small cask of Burgundian brandy, and a slightly larger cask of Calvados (Apple Brandy) for the campaign.? I will of course be leaving the salted mutton and hard tack here to free space on the baggage train.

I am confused, I was all set to be a carpetbagger, but it now appears 
that I am a hillbilly. 

I wish Mad Axel would make up his mind and stick to one 
vilification. This could be just another example of his madness that I 
am sure is a trial to the populace of Sacred Stone and should inspire 
us in our quest to liberate Sacred Stone and free Mad Axel from his 
unfortunate condition.
