Casting call: Needed: Re-enactors to portray a Viking raiding party

The Longship Company has been requested to participate in a video
production for the Discovery Channel.  This will be filmed on a
Saturday, March 5th (Unless it's postponed to the 12th.), in Oakley
Maryland.

This is about a 90-minute drive from the Washington, D.C. area.

We'll need about 16 warrior-types to portray a Viking raiding party.
There will be no fighting.

Filming will occur aboard the Longship Company's ship "Sae Hrafn",
which will not be in the water.  The ship will be adjacent to a
barn, and a large green-screen will be hang fro the barn.  The sea
will be computer-generated in post-production.

NOTE: The script portrays the ship in a storm, so you will get wet.
You will need to bring a dry change of clothes, and a couple towels.

The producers have stated they are looking to be as authentic as
possible.

We are currently negotiating how much we will be paid, however we're
asking that they pay each of our people $125 for the one-day shoot.
